4.3.7
Display
You may set the following parameters for the LCD screen of the phone:
4.3.7.1 Backlight
You can adjust the time to light up the LCD screen when you press any key
or an incoming call or message is received. The default backlight setting is
Battery Saving
. Three options are available.
OFF:
Disable the backlight
Battery
Saving:
5 seconds
Normal:
15 seconds
4.3.7.2 Contrast
Adjusts the contrast level of the phone’s LCD screen. You can select one of
the six contrast levels (1- Lowest to 6 - Highest) that are available. The
default contrast level setting is

4.3.7.3 Scheme
You can enter a message or phrase (14 English characters or 7 Chinese
characters) to be displayed on the LCD screen when the phone is in standby
mode. If you do not enter a message, the operator name will be displayed on
the screen. The default scheme message is
None
.
4.3.7.4 Greetings
You can enter a greeting message (56 English characters or 28 Chinese
characters) to be displayed on the LCD screen of the phone when it is
switched on. If a greeting message is not entered, the power-on animation
will be displayed on the screen. The default greeting message is
None
.
