) to save the message on the
LCD screen. If you do not enter a text message, “
Empty
” is displayed
on the LCD screen of the phone.
6. Use the navigation key
or
to reach
Save
and press the left soft
key
(
Ok
) to select. If the maximum number of messages (10)
has been saved, “
Update?
” is displayed on the LCD screen of the
phone.
7. Press the left soft key
(
Ok
) to delete the oldest message and
save the new message in
Drafts
or press the right soft key
(
Cancel
).
4.2.8 Inbox
When you receive a message, the message alert tone will sound, and “
New
Message
” will appear on the LCD screen. If there are any unread messages
or new messages, the icon will appear on the screen.
The
Inbox
can store up to 100 messages. When the 100
th
message is
received, “
Inbox Full
” is displayed, and the icon will change to .
When the inbox is full, the phone cannot receive any messages. You will
need to erase some of the existing messages, so that new messages can
be received.
When the
Inbox
is selected, the number of unread messages will appear
briefly i.e. “New 5”. Press any key except
or wait 2 seconds, the
message list will appear on the screen. If there are no unread messages,
the list will be displayed directly. The list shows the sender’s phone
number and name (if it is saved in the address book). The messages are
listed according to the time received. The latest message is displayed
first. The icon in front of the header means that the message has not
yet been read; in front of the header means that the message has been
read.
