circumference of the core. This indicates that the entire kerf is filled
with Utilibond™. Remove the core puller, and allow the pilot hole to
completely fill with Utilibond™ and overflow on to the surface of the
core.

The core should now be seated slightly above the roadway.
CAREFULLY tamp down evenly on the surface of the core until it is
level with the road surface
. TAKE YOUR TIME. This is the most
critical step of the reinstatement process. DO NOT put too much
pressure on the core or you may wind up pushing it below the level of
the road. If you do this properly, the excess Utilibond™ will be gently
forced out through the kerf and pilot hole where it can be removed with
a trowel and disposed of. The core should be perfectly level with the
road.

When finishing the reinstatement, keep the paved surfaces around the
drying Utilibond™ "wet" and final clean up of the original paved
surfaces will be easier.

If you are reinstating a core on a hill or incline, be patient while
finishing the bond. As the Utilibond™ sets, you will be able to feather it
as it gains workability, which will result in a flat and level core
reinstatement.
IMPORTANT: Always read and follow the instructions in the Utilibond™
pail.
