Recessed horizontal sidewall sprinklers
Recessed horizontal sidewall sprinklers
protrude through the wall of the
room, typically between 4" and 6"
below the ceiling.
The sidewall sprinkler activates when
temperatures exceed 155°F (68°C).
Intermediate temperature sprinklers
are required where ambient ceiling
temperatures exceed 100°F (38°C).
Recessed escutcheons
Recessed escutcheons include a tension
collar, and are available in white or
bronze to provide a finished appearance
for sprinklers.
Caution: Do not paint over the
sprinklers and cover plates.
Paint may interfere with the
heat sensitivity of the sprinkler, and
disturbances may damage the sprinkler.
