Searching Telephone Records
The “phone book” can hold up to 50 records. As a result, navigating through
the telephone records can become time consuming. To avoid lengthy
searches, the UIP300 allows users to search the telephone records by
entering a name or the first letter of a name. There are two types of
searches: name search and quick search.
This quick access operation applies to dialing only. If the user has already
entered a character on the LCD, pressing the
has no affect.

If the phone book is empty, user will see the message, “Phone Book is Empty”,
for one second.
To access the Phone Book menu, use the
or
arrows to choose Phone
Book from the Setup Menu.
If the
is pressed while the telephone is in standby mode and the date and
number are displayed in the LCD, the first Phone Book entry is shown.
