OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT

equipment which are deeply related to safe
operation of the truck. For more information
about optional equipment, consult your
local UniCarriers dealer. Also see page 5-3.
REAR WORK LIGHT (RWL)
CAUTION
It is advisable to use an optional rear
work light when you are working in
a place where sufficient light is not
available.
The rear work light illuminates the road or
floor behind the truck at night to allow the
operator to recognize obstacles, if any, on
the road or floor easily.
BEACON LIGHT
Use an optional beacon light in the case
when the truck is required to work near
fellow workers or bystanders or when the
work place is noisy.
FIRE EXTINGUISHER (FE)
Use the fire extinguisher for putting out a
fire. An optional fire extinguisher will be
attached to one of the rear supports of the
overhead guard.
EXHAUST PURIFYING MUFFLER
Use the exhaust purifying muffler to protect
the environment.
MANUAL PUMP TYPE AUTOMATIC
GREASTER
Centralized lubrication can be performed
through grease fittings by installing a
grease pump to the truck body.
FORK SHIFTER (WITH MOTOR)
Use the fork shifter to adjust the fork
spacing according to the size of the load.
FORK EXTENSION SLEEVE
Use the fork extension sleeves to handle a
bulky load.
SIDE SHIFTER
Use the side shifter to adjust the fork
position to the load or move the forks
sideways to stack a load on the deposit
area properly.
OVERHEAD GUARD WITH
WINDSHIELD AND WIPER
Protect the operator against the weather
when working outdoors.
OPERATOR’S CAB
Protect the operator against the weather
when working outdoors. The cab is
equipped with front and rear windshield
wipers and an operator’s seat which can
turn 15° to the right and 45° to the left.
HEATER
Use the heater for heating and defrosting
the inside of the operator’s cab.
AIR CONDITIONER
For trucks with an operator’s cab, use
the air conditioner for air conditioning and
defrosting the inside of the cab.
