BATTERY
Open the battery box cover at the right side of the truck and
check the electrolyte level of the battery. Keep the electrolyte
level between the “UPPER LEVEL” and “LOWER LEVEL” on the
battery case. If the level is low, add purified water to the specified
level.
Close right and left side panels and engine hood
CAUTION
•
Use caution not to get your fingers caught in the engine
hood.
•
Make sure that the engine hood is securely locked
before removing your hand from it.
12 CARRIAGE
Check the carriage for damage or loose or missing mounting bolt.
13 HEAD LAMPS AND COMBINATION LAMPS
Check for dirty or damaged lens of the head lamps. Check also
the combination lamps (clearance lamps and turn signals) for a
dirty or damaged lens.

STEERING COLUMN
TILT LEVER
Seat yourself in the operator’s seat and adjust the operator’s
seat to a position which provides easy access to all foot and
hand controls. Adjust the seat suspension and the reclining angle
properly. After adjustment, rock the seat a little back and forth to
make sure it is securely locked.
