CAUTIONS TO ADOPT IN CASE OF UNITS UTILIZING R410A
Conditioning units using R410A refrigerant gas require special care during assembly and maintenance in order to protect
them from possible anomalies related to the peculiarities of the gas itself.
We therefore recommend the following precautions!
• For all units operating with R410A it is obligatory the execution of the vacuum in the lines and in the inside unity bifore to
open the faucets of the external unity.
• For the operation of vacuum and charging use special equipment (manifold, hoses, etc.) other than those used for the ‘R22
because they contain residues of oil that is not compatible with the oil used in the units with R410A. the vacuum pump
makes exception, as long to the itself has been added to a check valve to intervene in case of accidental switching off the
pump during the vacuum
• Avoid all water is present inside the cooling system.
• Do not use the charging cylinder as durations using this tool the composition of the gas mixture can change.
• All loading or top-up must be done with R410A in the liquid state. For this type of operation requires a tank with drafts from
the bottom and an electronic scale, in order to withdraw the amount of liquid refrigerant always at the bottom. In order to
avoid splits in the mix, we recommend using R410A gas cylinders up to a residual level of 30%
• If in the circuit there is a significant loss of coolant, do not perform partial replenishment that may change the composition
of the gas mixture, but completely unload the car and recharge it after you run the vacuum with the specified quantity.
