c. The condensation draining pump could operate in a faulty way if the unit is not in a perfectly horizontal position.
- Adjust the position of the unit so that the slits between this latter and the ceiling are uniform. The lower part of the
unit should be buried about 10-11 mm into the ceiling.
* Fix the conditioner firmly in place by screwing the bracket nuts after having regulated the position of the unit cor-
rectly.
B. New buildings and ceilings
a. If the buildings are new, the rods can be fixed in advance (refer to points a and b of the previous chapter).
However, these latter must be strong enough to bear the weight of the unit and must be unable to slip out owing to
crumbling cement.
b. Before proceeding with the installation operations, establish the positions of the bearing rods on the ceiling using
the supplied template.
- Make sure that the surface of the ceiling is flat and linear.
- Refer to point A for the other details.
c. Remove the paper template.
WARNINGS
After the unit has been installed, the four nuts must be fixed to the air conditioner to make sure that the unit is secu-
rely in place.
