DUCT TYPE INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION SITE OF THE INDOOR UNIT
Comply with the following recommendations when choosing the
installation site for the interior unit:
• Position it in a place that is able to bear it and where vibrations and
noise cannot be amplified.
• Position it away from heat and steam sources and where air intake
and delivery are not obstructed.
• Position the unit so that its pipes can be easily connected to the
exterior unit.
• Position it in a point where the treated air can be distributed all over
the room.
• Do not install the unit in places where there is inflammable gas or
acid or alkaline substances that could damage the heat exchan-
gers in copper-aluminium, or the plastic components.
• Position the unit so that its front part is free from obstructions.
• When the unit is installed in a false ceiling, remember to make an
inspection door so that the electrical parts can be inspected and
serviced.
• If the air is distributed with conventional channels, insert vibration-
dampening joints between the delivery and the channel itself.
• Comply with the minimum space for installation and maintenance
indicated in Fig.1.
HOW TO INSTALL INDOOR UNITS
• These indoor unit models can be ceiling mounted using 4 tie-rods.
Choose the most suitable fixing method considering the structure
of the ceiling and the weight of the unit as shown in the table.
• Make sure that the condensation drain pipe slants in the correct
way. Use the nuts and check nuts to adjust the four bearing points
in height.
• Definitively tighten the nuts and check nuts on to the tie rods so as
to prevent vibrations that could impair the stability of the unit
