Set spectrum analyzer’s various frequency parameters.
Spectrum analyzer sweeps frequency within set frequency
range. Once frequency parameters have been changed, it
begins to sweep again.
Spectrum analyzer has two types of channel frequency
range at present: start frequency/stop frequency, center
frequency/span. If any one of them is adjusted, the other
three parameters are adjusted accordingly, so as to satisfy
coupling relationship among them:
fcenter
(
fstop

fstart
) / 2
(3-1)
fspan
fstop
̣
fstar
(3-2)
fcenter, fstop, fstart
and
fspan
respectively stand for:
center frequency, stop frequency, start frequency and span.

Notes:
Ɣ&
enter frequency automatically adjusts start frequency
and stop frequency on the premise that the setting of span
keeps unchanged.
Ɣ7
he adjustment of center frequency is equivalent to
parallel movement of current channel; adjustable range is
limited by frequency range given by parameters.
Ɣ,
n zero span mode, values of start frequency, stop
frequency and center frequency are same, and they will be
revised together.
Ɣ
You can use number keys, knob and direction keys to
revise this parameter.
Activate center frequency, and set spectrum analyzer in
center frequency mode. If center frequency set is not in
harmony with current span, span will automatically adjust
to optimal value adapting to expected frequency.
Activate start frequency, and set spectrum analyzer in start
frequency/stop frequency mode at the same time.
Notes:
Ɣ
The revision of start frequency may cause the change
of span and center frequency; the change of span may
affect other system parameters, please refer to instructions
provided in Section “Span” for details.
Ɣ
In zero span mode, values of start frequency, stop
frequency and center frequency are same, and they will be
