Using Call Waiting
You can use enhanced telephone features such as Call Waiting that you may
have as part of your telephone service. With the
CapTel 800i, you will see
captions during your first conversation and during the second Call Waiting
conversation as well.
To use Call Waiting:
1. During a conversation, listen
for the beep or see (TONES) in
the captions. It may indicate
an incoming call with
Call Waiting.
2. Inform the party you are
speaking with on the initial
call that you have another call
on Call Waiting and ask if they
would mind holding.
3. Press the FLASH button to
switch to the second call (you
will receive captions of this call
as well).
4. Press the FLASH button to
return to the first call if
appropriate.
