satellites. Hold the device in your hand so that the
SIM-card cover is facing you.
The LED-light on the right hand side with the text
“
Pwr ” will flash intermittently during start up.
The device will flash the ” Pwr ”-LED intermittently
for approximately 45 seconds, after which the
device will have found the satellites. If the device is
still searching for satellites, the “
Pwr ”-LED will flash
approximately once each second.
When the red ” Pwr ”-LED will stop flashing and
the orange ” GPS ” LED on the left hand side will
start flashing approximately once each second, a
sufficient number of satellites have been found for
acquiring a position.
It is good to wait until the device has found the
satellites before the collar is put on a dog. Finding
satellites takes 1-3 minutes.
It is recommended to acquire a location from the
device before releasing the dog so that you can
verify that the batteries are sufficiently charged and
that the device is operating normally.
NOTE! If the SIM-card is not installed correctly or
the SIM-card lock is not disabled from the SIM-card
in the collar, the red ”
Pwr ”-LED will not start flashing
regularly once each second!
Other functions
The LED-lights flashing simultaneously means that
the device in power saver mode.
When the orange ”
GPS ”-LED is flashing, three long
flashes from the red ” PWR ”-led means that the
device is sending a message.
NOTE! It is normal that the LED-lights will
sometimes flash intermittently and may skip a few
flashes.
4.4 Attaching the collar to the dog
When you have installed the SIM-card and the
batteries according to the instructions in sections
4.1 and 4.2, you can put the collar on the dog. Put
the collar around the dog’s neck so that the antenna
of the device is pointing towards the tail of the dog.
The antenna should be pointing upwards diagonally
approximately in a 45° angle.
Tighten the collar to a suitable tightness and fasten
the collar into place with the buckle that is placed
underneath the dog’s neck.
You are now ready to begin using the Ultrapoint- app.
You can now move to the manual supplied with the
app.

5. Responsibilities and guarantees
Dear customer
We thank you for buying the Ultracom Dog-GPS-
device and trust that you will be satisfied with your
purchase.
The guarantee terms, conditions and instructions
from the following chapters will survive in
accordance with the Consumer Protection Act in the
event where the device does not work as expected.
If your Ultracom Dog-GPS product needs warranty
service, please first contact our product retailer or
technical support.
The warranty of the Product* is two (2) years from
the purchase date of the product, with the exception
of the antenna, whose warranty is one (1) year from
the purchase date of the product.
If you detect damages to the device or the
batteries, cease using the device and/or batteries
immediately in order to prevent further damage or
accident. Please contact your closest authorized
service center or retailer.
The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover the
indirect costs caused by the use of the product.
The manufacturer is not responsible for the
operation of third-party software or hardware.
Ultracom Oy has the right to either completely shut
