During the charging process, a filling battery icon with
a blinking bar will appear on the display. Once the bat-
tery is fully charged, the bar will stop blinking.
5. Charge battery
The device is equipped with a lithium-ion battery that cannot be changed.
Upon delivery, the battery is partially charged. Before using the device for
the first time, make sure that the device is fully charged.
Only use the provided charger type L1 for charging. Original replacement
components and accessories can be found on page 54.
When the battery symbol starts blinking, you can perform a few more
measurements. You should charge the battery as soon as possible.
Connect the charging cable with the USB connector to
the blood pressure device and to the charger. Then con-
nect the charger to a suitable socket.
When the blinking battery symbol
is jointly dis-
played with Lo (Low), measurements will not be pos-
sible. You will first need to the charge the battery to
perform further measurements.
Charge the battery fully
• if the charger icon blinks on the display during the measurement,
• if the display brightness is decreasing,
• if you turn the device on and the display remains blank.
After charging, disconnect the charger from the electric circuit and pull the
charging cable from the blood pressure monitor.
During the charging process, you cannot measure your blood pressure
with the device.
If the battery is fully discharged, charging may take approx. 1-2 hours.
When charging a partially discharged battery, the charging time will
shorten accordingly.
With a fully charged battery you will be able to perform approx. 75 meas-
urements. The number of measurements can vary slightly.
The battery is permanently installed in the unit and cannot be changed.
It is constructed to last approx. 300 charging cycles, which, in the case of
an average of 3 measurements per day, amounts to a life cycle of approx.
20 years.
The device is designed for 2 users. The results of both users will be saved
independently and can be analysed separately, as well.
If you are using the device alone, you may use both users to save your
measurements in the morning and the evening separately. In this case,
select user 1 for the morning and user 2 for the evening.
6. Select user
When the battery is fully discharged, it may take a cou-
ple minutes after the charger has been hooked in for the
charger display to appear.
Select the user before taking the measurement. With
the device switched off, press and hold the MEM button.
The user that is currently active is shown.
Change the user by pressing the MEM key until the se-
lected user blinks. Confirm the settings with the SET
key.
