• The device may only be used with the original parts and original ac-
cessories (see page 54). When using any other parts, the device may
be damaged, thereby endangering the user.
• Before use, check that the device is operating reliably and is in proper
condition. Do not use the device if it is damaged, as this can lead to
injuries or inaccurate measurements.
• If the device malfunctions or is faulty, please refer to the trouble-
shooting guide starting on page 53, or contact customer service (see
page 54).
• In case of unexpectedly hazardous events during usage, contact the
visomat customer service immediately (see page 54).
• Never leave the device close to fire or strong heat. This may cause the
battery to explode.
• The device comes with a permanently installed rechargeable lithi-
um-ion battery that cannot be changed. Never try to open the device.
This may only be done by an authorised expert (see customer service
on page 54).
