The K33A enables users to create edit the specifi c parameters splice modes for both pre-
programmed and user created splice settings. The 35 pre-programmed Splice settings
enable the user to edit some but not all of the Splice attributes. User created Splice
settings enable the user to defi ne splice parameter values on up to 32 unique splice
attributes in situations where standard splice modes need to be adjusted due to fi ber
type, environmental conditions etc. A user must fi rst create a new splice mode to be able
to utilize the full capabilities to create the most complex Splice Mode. See How to Create a
New splice mode to if needed and then utilize the Edit function to complete this process.
