Before you leave, prepare the vehicle to receive patients.
Carefully check the reliability of the stretcher suspension assemblies, the places of attachment of brackets to the
sides, their opening and closing functionality, the state of stitching of suspension straps and the presence of hangers, the
places of attachment of holders and brackets for the straps on the ceiling.
After checking the equipment and fasteners, install the suspension straps (Fig. 3.13).
When transporting patients placed on seats, remove all stretchers. Clamp the stretcher pairwise when folded with
straps and lay it along the sanitary compartment of the body on the left side.
Be cautious when transporting patients, move smoothly and avoid sudden braking.
Check that the tailgate steps are secure.
Suspension of the stretcher
Suspend the stretcher with the sick in the body as follows, first fasten the stretcher on the upper tier, and then set the
stretcher of a lower tier.
Mount the handle of one stretcher bar on the hinged brackets and the other on the belt loops hanging freely from the
ceiling, then close the bracket and tighten the belt loops with the clamping frame (Fig. 3.14).

Wiper and washer
The windshield wiper is of electric, two-speed type.
For the convenience of manual cleaning of the windshield, wiper levers are fixed in the reclined position.
To increase the service life of the windshield wiper and its brushes, operation of wipers on dry glass is not
recommended and the ingress of fuel and oil onto the rubber of wiper blades shall be prevented.
After 18-24 months of operation, and as necessary, replace the wiper blades or rubber bands of the blades.
The washer is of electric type, designed to speed up windshield cleaning.
Fill the detachable tank with clean water (in summer) or a special non-freezing liquid (in winter). The tank is
installed under the instrument panel on the right side.
To fill the reservoir with fluid, disconnect the rubber clamp on the right side of the bracket and the two wiring
harness blocks. Remove the reservoir from the basket by placing it on the floor plane. Do not disconnect the hose from the
pump connection. After unscrewing the reservoir cap, fill in the flushing liquid. After closing the cover, install the tank in
the basket and secure the rubber clamp to the bracket and the two wiring harness blocks. Tuck the excess length of hose
between the tank and the headlight silencer. Check the distribution of liquid to the windshield. It is not allowed to bend the
hose.
CAUTION!
When the air temperature is 0 °C and below, tank must be filled only with non
-freezing liquid.
Adjust the direction of the water jet by changing the position of the nozzle balls with a needle inserted into the
channel (supply hole) of the balls. If the nozzle is clogged, remove it by removing the bracket and disconnecting the tube,
purge with air.
In order to avoid failure of the pumps of the washer, watch the level of the liquid in the reservoir, preventing it from
dropping below 20 mm from the bottom plane.
Do not keep washer operating for more than 10 sec.
