OPERATINg PRINCIPlE Of
PREhEATINg sysTEm
(1) Automatic preheating operation
When turning the main switch
to the ON position in winter,
the engine is automatically
preheated according to its
temperature. Then, the preheat
indicator comes on. As soon
as the preheating operation is
completed, the indicator goes off.
The engine can be started while
the preheating operation is in
progress.

(2) manual preheating operation
When turning the main switch in
the GLOW position, the engine
can be preheated manually.

Idle the engine.
②
Turn the main switch to the
"OFF" position.
③
Remove the key from the switch.

Do not stop the engine at a high
speed.
If the engine has been running
for an extended period of time,
stop the engine only after idling
it for 5 to 10 minutes.
