Replacing the floppy disk drive
Follow these instructions to replace the FDD in your TX46.
1. Remove the chassis covers as described in section 2.2.1
Removing the chassis cover

2. Locate the FDD drive bay and remove the power and
data cables from the backplane.
3. Remove the single screw that secures the drive bay to
the chassis.
4. Slide the drive bay back and lift it free from the chassis.
Then, remove the dry stuff from the drive bay and release
two screws to remove the front cover.
