2.3.1 Installing the server in a rack
Follow these instructions to mount the Transport TX46 into an
industry standard 19" rack.
NOTE
: Before mounting the TX46 in a rack, ensure that all
internal components have been installed and that the unit has
been fully tested. Maintenance can be performed on the unit
while in a rack but it is preferable to install the device in a fully
operational condition.
Installing the inner rails to chassis
1. Draw out the inner rails from rail assembly. Install inner
rails to left and right sides of chassis using 4 6# -32
screws for each side.
NOTE
: The 6#--32 screw is in the
accessary kit, not in the rail kit.
Follow the illustrated below for the “optional rail mounting
holes” and “recommended rail mounting holes”.
