1.  Plug the end of the phone cord nearest to the microphone into the ‘Accessory’ jack on the headset.

2.  Plug the opposite end of the phone cord into the headphone jack of your cell phone or cordless home phone.

3.  Turn on your TV Ears Professional headset.

Your phone should recognize a headphone has been plugged in. If not, set your phone to headphone mode.

Using the Music Cord:

The music cord works with stereos, CD players, MP3 players, computers, portable radios, and airplanes with

headphone jacks. The two ends of the music cord are different sizes. The smaller of the ends plugs into the

Professional headset and the larger of the two plugs into the music source.

1.  Plug the smaller plug (2.5mm) into the “Accessory” jack of the Professional headset.

2.  Plug the larger plug (3.5mm) into the headphone jack of your music source.

3.  Set the volume of your music source between ½ and ¾ of the full volume.

4.  Turn on your TV Ears Professional headset and adjust the volume to a comfortable volume for you.

The TV Ears headset receives an invisible infrared signal from the stack that is connected to the television.

Be certain that the infrared diodes         located on the front of the stack are in direct sight with the front of

the headset to receive the signal. The infrared signal from the stack to the headset should be clear of any

obstruction (plants, books, furniture, etc.). The infrared signal cannot pass through walls or solid objects. The

headset can only pick up the infrared signal in the same room as the stack.

Step 2

Removing the Headset after use

Always use two hands to place and remove your headset from your ears. Using one hand may loosen or tug on the

bow arms and damage your headset.

1.  Remove the headset from the charging cradle          of the transmitter.

2.  The BALANCE control is located on the back of the headset. The balance comes set

equal to both ears. To change the balance of volume to the right and left ears, insert

the balance control tool into the opening and turn the tool towards the ear you want

to increase the volume to.

3.  The writing on the front of the headset should face away from your body. The

infrared signal is received on the front of the headset.

4.  Using both hands, gently separate the bow arms and place earpieces into each ear

(similar to placing a stethoscope).

5.  The VOLUME control        will be located on the RIGHT side. Rotate the dial to turn ON

the headset and set the volume to your comfort level.

6.  The TONE control          (bass and treble) will be located on the LEFT side. Rotate the

dial to adjust the tone to your preference.

Using the Phone Cord:

The phone cord works with most phones and most cordless home phones

that have a headphone jack. The phone cord will fit a headphone jack that

is 2.5mm. Adapters may be needed for some phones. A TV Ears Professional

headset and phone cord cannot be used while driving.
