ATTACHING WIDE
SPIN
1530 TO TOW VEHICLE
(See Figure 10)
The tow vehicle must be properly equipped to power
and tow the WIDE
SPIN
1530 top dresser. The tow
vehicle must have the following:
● Adequate horsepower to tow the WIDE
SPIN
1530.
● Adequate Brakes to control and stop a loaded
WIDE
SPIN
1530.
● Adequate hitch to accept the 1530 tongue weight
and a 16 mm (5/8”) pin or a 2” (50.8 mm) ball for
the optional fifth wheel hitch.
● Adequate suspension to accept the 1530 tongue
weight.
Step 30.
Attach the 1530 to the tow vehicle, secure with
the hitch pin and attach the safety chains. The 1530
should sit level when it is hitched to the tow vehicle.
ALWAYS ATTACH THE SAFETY CHAINS
TO THE TRACTOR.
Step 31.
Reset the jack stand to the raised position.
Swing wheel end towards the top dresser. Check the
position of the head of the jack stand to ensure that it
does not interfere with the hitch, safety chains, wiring
harness, or any part of the tow vehicle (especially
during sharp turns).
