SETUP AND ASSEMBLY
INSTALLATION OF HOPPER TO THE WIDE
SPIN
1530 FRAME
(See Figure 4)
Step 7.
Set the hopper assembly on the 1530 frame.
The hopper seals should be inside of the frame and
on top of the conveyor belt. Line up the top row of
holes in the hopper seals to the holes in the frame.
Check the front seal, it should be on top of the side
seals. Check the side seals, they should extend past
the hopper, along the side of the frame.
Step 8.
Attach the hopper to the frame using 1/4” x 5/8”
hex head Whiz-Lock screws and nuts (Quantity
24). Insert the screws from the inside of the hopper
and the nuts on the outside of the frame.
DO NOT
TIGHTEN THE SCREWS AT THIS TIME.
Step 9.
Attach the extensions of the side seals to the
frame using the seal retainer strips. Use 1/4” x 5/8”
hex head screws and nuts (Quantity 4). Insert the
screws thru the seal retainers and the nuts on the
outside of the frame. The bend on the seal retainer
strips should face in toward the seal. Tighten screws
securely.
METERING GATE ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
(See Figure 5)
Step 10.
Assemble the right and left hand mounting
brackets to the metering gate. Use 3/4” x 1-1/4”
long hex head screws and nylock nuts. Space with
plastic washers.
DO NOT TIGHTEN SCREWS AT
THIS TIME.
