Installing Optional Scraper Kit
CP-48L, CP-72L
Follow these steps to install the Optional Scraper
Kit.
1. Attach the Scraper Bar Mounts shown in Figure
16. (Ref. 1, Left Hand and Ref. 2, Right Hand) to
the inside face of the roller hangers using 4 Hex
Bolts, 5/8" x 2" (Ref. 7), Lock Washers, 5/8" (Ref.
8) and Hex Nuts, 5/8" (Ref. 9) provided with the
scraper kit.
2. Mount the Scraper Bar (Ref. 3) to the Scraper
Bar Mounts (Ref. 1, Left Hand and Ref. 2, Right
Hand) using Carriage Bolt, 1/2" x 1 1/2" (Ref. 5)
and Flange Lock Nut, 1/2" (Ref. 6) on each side.
3. Attach the Scraper Blades (Ref. 4) to the
Scraper Bar (Ref. 3) using Carriage Bolt, 1/2" x 1
1/2" (Ref. 5) and Flange Lock Nut, 1/2" (Ref. 6).
4. Tighten each nut to the torque chart on page
33.
