(4) Torque Arm Rotation Prevention
Install a torque arm after determining the appropriate reducer mounting method
(position). Pay attention so that the reducer and the driven shaft do not rotate together
during this process. Provide enough leeway between the reducer and the driven shaft in
the rotation prevention portion of the arm, so that they will not rotate together. Do not fix
the torque arm with a rotation prevention bolt.

Remove driven shaft from hollow shaft, without applying too much force between the
casing and the hollow shaft. Using the jigs below will allow a smooth removal.

Lubrication
CAUTION
●
Change lubrication according to the instruction manual. Use only the lubrication
recommended. Other kinds of lubrication may damage your equipment.
●
Do not lubricate the reducer during or immediately after operation. Doing so may cause burn
injuries.
●
Dispose lubrication as general waste.
