10.5.1 Resolution
Photographs can be saved in the memory in four different resolutions. The lower the
resolution, the more photographs you can save in the camera's memory. The higher
the resolution, the more detailed the photograph will be.
Use a low resolution if you wish to upload photographs onto the Internet.
Use a high resolution if you wish to print or edit photographs.
10.5.2 Compression
You can determine the quality of the photographs using the compression.
The higher the quality setting (Super Fine), the better the final image. A higher quality
requires more memory and limits the number of photographs which can be saved in
the camera’s memory.
Super Fine is the best quality setting. Normal is the lowest quality setting. The quality
setting can be altered as desired.
See the table below for a summary of the number of photographs than can be saved
in the camera’s internal memory.
