WELDER PRINCIPLES AND STRUCTURE
WELDER STRUCTURE
The SOT-300/200 a.c.~ and c.c. stick welders are made with a
mobile box structure. Each side of the welder sides is set with one
connection for the primary “Power Source Input” and the secondary
“Power source Output”. The front panel is built with a switch to
change from a.c.~ to c.c. , power regulation bar and welder current
indicator, while in the lower side in the back, the ground connection
screw is set to ground the welder.
In the upper side of the welder, a lifting ring is fixed and it has two
wheels installed in the lower side. Very maneuverable to load and
transportation. Originally designed with good internal radiation, the
welder operation is easy and reliable.
INSTALLATION
The
SOT-300/200
a.c. - stick welder housing protection grade is
IP21S. It is not allowed to introduce the fingers or insert a round bar
smaller than 12 mm (especially metal bars) into the welder.
WARNING:
The welding current sources are not suitable
for use under rain or snow.
When using the welder, it needs an adequate input
current. If the capacity of the electric network is enough,
it has an influence in the power supply network. If you
have any doubt, please consult the experts.
CAUTION!
The base of the welding power source must
be inclined at a maximum of 10º to avoid overturning.
WELDER GROUND CONNECTION
The welder shall be properly grounded. It is not permitted
disconnecting before the welding job is finished. Otherwise,
electrocution and personal injuries may happen.
