Removing and refitting the display module

XRS EID Stick Reader only: The display module used on the stick reader includes the LCD. Follow the
precautions for handling LCD modules, see page 22.

To remove the display module:

Open the case. See page 24.

Disconnect the FFC from the main module. See

Using flat flexible circuit (FFC) cables and

3

Manually remove the 5 screws securing the display module to the top case.

Lift and hold the display module whilst disconnecting the beeper loom.
