Installation positions

The fire damper may be installed so that the damper

blade shaft is horizontal or vertical. The position of the

release mechanism is not critical but the mechanism

must remain accessible for maintenance (take applica-

tion-specific restrictions into account).

The fire damper with assembled duct smoke detector

must be installed in a horizontal installation position,

duct smoke detector at the top, (deviations on request).
