Maintenance and Adjustment
Headlight Adjustment
Each headlight can be adjusted by means of
vertical and horizontal adjustment screws
located on the rear of each headlight.
1. Horizontal adjustment screw (right
hand)
2. Vertical adjustment screw (right
hand)
3. Vertical adjustment screw (left hand)
4. Horizontal adjustment screw (left
hand)
5. Pivot screws (DO NOT adjust these
screws)
Note:
•
If the horizontal headlight aim is to
be adjusted, remove the cockpit
infill panels to gain access to the
adjustment screws.
Switch on the headlight to be adjusted.
Turn the vertical adjustment screws on each
headlight clockwise to lower the beam or
counter-clockwise to raise the beam.
On the right hand headlight turn the
horizontal adjustment screw clockwise to
move the beam to the right or counter-
clockwise to move the beam to the left.
On the left hand headlight turn the
horizontal adjustment screw clockwise to
move the beam to the left or
counter-clockwise to move the beam to the
right.
Switch the headlights off when the beam
settings are satisfactory.
Caution
Do not adjust the pivot screws as this may
cause the headlight reflector to become
detached from the pivot screw, leading to
irreparable damage to the headlight.
