When installing into a stud partition or other
hollow wall structure the installer may wish to
consider fabricating rear supports or other
options. Such options are beyond the scope of this
guide.
Before starting, ensure the available depth of
recess or cavity is at least 65 mm (fig.9) measured
from the face of the wall upon which the
mounting bracket is screwed (excluding the tile
thickness).
The allowance for varying thickness of tiles up to
10mm is accommodated by a limited degree of
tolerance between the control knobs and their
trim rings.
If the valve unit is to be fitted behind an existing
wall panel, use the supplied self-adhesive template
(fig.16) as a guide when cutting the aperture.
