Overview
When fitted, the Battery Power Option will power the
SafeTcheck
for far in excess of 360 Tests (more than one
day's testing). This option will remove the need for mains
power and makes the
SafeTcheck
truly portable.
Users of the Battery Power should note:
1. Insulation and earth testing only are available in Battery
mode
2. To enter Battery mode press “Start” until the
SafeTcheck
beeps (battery symbol in the bottom left corner of display
will appear in this mode)
3. In Battery mode, if no key is pressed after 5 minutes, the
SafeTcheck
will automatically shut down. Holding “reset”
down will also shut it down
4. The
SafeTcheck
may be switched from battery to mains
without losing power (the battery will not charge in this
mode – see Battery Charge Mode)
5. Failing to follow these instructions will reduce battery life
and void the battery’s warranty
