Installing and Removing Options
Replacing the CD-ROM Drive
If you want to replace the CD-ROM drive in your system, follow these steps to
replace the CD-ROM drive:

Remove the computer's cover as described in "Removing the Cover".

Remove the bezel and the hard disk drive as described in "Replacing the Hard
Disk Drive".

Disconnect the diskette drive cable attached to the diskette drive, all cables
attached to the CD-ROM dirive, and the power connector cable attached to the
motherboard.

Remove the four screws on the front and the back that secure the drive bracket to
the system and then lift the drive bracket out of the computer.
