Connecting the Power Cord
Before you plug the power cord into the wall socket, make sure you set the voltage
selection switch to the correct position.
Follow these steps to connect the power cord:

Plug the power cord into the power inlet on the back panel.

Plug the other end of the power cord into an appropriate grounded electrical
outlet.

To avoid generating an electric shock, be sure to plug the cord into
the computer before plugging it into the wall socket.
Do not attempt to modify or use the supplied AC power cord if it is
not the exact type required.
