IMD-600 Unit Installation

To mount the IMD-600 unit inside the operator's cab, do the following:
Step 1
The IMD-600 unit can be mounted on
any rigid, smooth, flat, vertical or
horizontal surface.
It must not be mounted to interior
plastic trim or other flimsy material.
For this series of tractors, Trimble
recommends the shelf behind the
operator's seat.
Clean the area with an alcohol wipe to
ensure good adhesion of the VHB tape.

Tip –
Adhere the IMD-600 unit to
a metal surface only.
Do not
attempt to apply the VHB to
plastic material.
Step 2
Peel the release liner from the tape on
the mount plate and place the IMD-600
unit on the shelf as shown.
Press it firmly in place.
Connect the P3 connector of the
P/N 76351 cable into the socket on the
unit.
