General Information and Operating Instructions

PUSHBACK TRACTOR CHALLENGER550

"Start/Stop stationary regeneration" switch

Figure 31: "Start/Stop stationary regeneration" switch

If the "Regeneration necessary" control light flashes, the SCR catalyst or the particulate filter needs
to be regenerated.

Press the "Start/Stop stationary regeneration" switch for a stationary regeneration. The switch needs
to be unlocked for this and be pressed for about two seconds.

Press the switch again to end the regeneration.

INFORMATION

The particulate filter and the SCR catalyst can be regenerated only while the CHALLENGER550 is
running at idle with the parking brake engaged (gear selector lever in "Neutral").

INFORMATION

If the "Regeneration necessary" control light flashes, carry out the stationary regeneration as soon
as possible.

If you do not carry out the stationary regeneration, then the engine performance will be reduced in
two stages. Observe operating manual of the motor on this

(DEUTZ TCD 7.8 L6).
