Wing walkers in the danger area!
During towing or pushing operations, the wing walkers might enter the danger area of the CHAL-
LENGER550.
Being in the danger area can lead to serious injury or death.
During towing or pushing operations of the CHALLENGER550, no wing walkers may enter
the danger area.
During the steering movement of the wheels, in particular when changing the steering mode,
the wing walkers may not be in the vicinity of the wheels.
Constant visual contact must be maintained between operator and wing walker.
Crush hazard!
When coupling the CHALLENGER550, hands can be crushed in the coupling device of the tow bar.
Crushing can lead to serious hand injuries.
Make sure that operating personnel only grip the tow bar on the handgrips intended for this
purpose.
Make sure that the operating personnel wear protective gloves.
Caustic fuels!
When filling up, fuel may get onto clothing or skin.
Fuel on the skin can cause minor injuries.
Always wear personal safety gear.
Clothing that has become wet with fuel should be changed immediately.
Incorrectly performed inspection work!
Failure to follow the given sequence may result in damage to the CHALLENGER550.
First, perform all the checks for which the engine has to be off.
Motor or transmission damage!
If the oil level is too high or too low, this can result in damage to the motor or transmission.
Make sure that the oil level never goes above the "MAX" marking and never below the "MIN"
marking.
Use only authorized types of oil.
