WARNING
Turn off gas to the appliance and make sure it has fully cooled prior to conducting service.
WARNING
The firebacks are required on this fireplace and must be installed prior to operation.
WARNING
The firebacks are fragile (especially after being burned) – handle with care.
NOTE
The firebacks are 2-sided. When
installing, use the desired pattern.
Also make sure the rear brick is
correctly positioned.

Remove the glass frame, logs, and grate.

Install the firebacks following the directions
below.

Herringbone Pattern
Brick Pattern
Remove the clip and screw located on the firebox
ceiling near the front (both sides).

Right Floor Fireback
Place the floor firebacks in the gap in
front of the burner. Bend the 3 tabs
on the burner down to secure the
floor firebacks.

Upper Rear
Fireback
Lower
Rear Fireback
Place the rear firebacks in
place. Note how the lower
fireback rests on the ledge
at the back of the firebox.
Side Fireback
While holding the rear firebacks in
place, slide the side firebacks
between the burner and side wall of
the firebox. The side firebacks hold
the back firebacks in place.
Replace the clip to secure the
side fireback (both sides).
