Installation
Wherever possible, the structural anchor point will be
located at a height between 1.5 and 2 meters above
the operator's feet. The structural anchor must have a
minimumtensilestrengthof12kN.
Theconnectiontotheanchoringpointortothestructure
mustbedoneusinganEN362connector.
Forconnectionofthefallarrestsystemtothefallarrest
harness, please refer to the harness and fall arrest
instructions to use the correct attachment point and the
rightmethodtoattachit.
Donotusethelanyardtoformaslidingknot.
CAUTION
Beforeandduringuse,itisnecessarytoplanouthow
possiblerescuecanbeefficientlyandsafelyconducted,
within less than 15 minutes. Beyond this time, the
operator is in danger.

Maintenance and storage

Ifalanyardbecomesdirty,washitincleancoldwater,
possibly with a detergent for delicate fabrics, using a
synthetic-fiberbrush.
•
When the lanyard becomes wet, either during use or
washing, leave it to dry naturally in the shade and away
fromallsourcesofheat.
•
During transport and storage, protect the equipment
against damage (sharp edges, sources of direct heat,
chemicalproducts,UVradiation,…).
