5.2.4.2 Tree format yes
A synchronous serial data transmission with tree format is divided up in position bits
(P) for the
Number of revolutions
(left of the centerline) and in position bits for
the
Number of steps per revolution
(right of the centerline).
Independently of the programmed revolutions for the
Number of revolutions
are
output always 12 bits. Programmings > 12 bits are not permissible.
Depending on the programmed resolution for the
Number of steps per
revolution
max. 13 bits are output. Thus max. 8192 steps/revolution x 4096
revolutions can be transferred.
After the LSB position bit max. 8 freely programmable SSI special bits (S) are output. In
the default setting the SSI special bits are programmed to
"Logical 0V"
and
produce, if they take effect, added "zeros".
Leading "zeros" are produced, if for the programmed
Number of revolutions
less
than 12 bits are needed.
The
Number of data bits
required for the programmed
Total number of steps
must be typed in exactly. During transmission of the programming to the measuring
system the required
Number of data bits
is calculated and compared with the
entered value. If there is a difference, the value calculated by the program is
displayed. With the take-over of the value the wrongly entered value is overwritten.
