Error messages and beep sounds
The sewing advisor LCD displays error messages when the machine is not operated correctly.
When the following messages are displayed, correct the problems by following solutions.

Lower the presser for lifter.
The start and stop button (or reverse stitch lever ) was
pressed when the presser foot lifter is UP.
Pull down the buttonhole lever and push it to the back
until it clicks.
The start and stop button was pressed when the button-
hole stitch (Stitch No.1) is selected, and with the button-
hole lever UP.
Return the buttonhole lever up.
The start and stop button was pressed when the button-
hole stitch (Stitch No.1) is NOT selected, with the button-
hole lever DOWN.
Move the bobbin winder shaft to the right.
The bobbin winder shaft returned to the left when winding
the bobbin.
1 Connect the foot controller plugs correctly.
2 Do not press the start and stop button when the ma-
chine is connected to a foot controller.
1 The foot controller has been disconnected during the
sewing.
2 The start and stop button was pressed when the foot
controller is connected to the sewing machine.
Set proper stitch length
1 Stitch width is not set at "4" when stretch stitches (Stitch
No.11-20) are selected.
2 Stitch width is set to "4" when Stitch No.1 or stitch No.
13-10 are selected.
Set proper stitch width (except "0")
Stitch width is set to "0" when the stitch patterns selected
are NOT straight stitch (Stitch No.2) nor straight stretch
stitch (Stitch No.12) .
