INSPECTION OF CYLINDER BLOCK
1 . REMOVE GASKET MATERIAL
Using " gesket scraper. remove all the �sket material
from the cylinde< block surface.

CLEAN CYLINDER BLOCK

Using a SOlt brush and solvent. clean the block.
INSPECT TOP OF CYLINDER BLOCK FOR FLATNESS

Visually check the cylindar for vertical scretches

INSPECT CYLINDER BORE DIAMETER
Using a cylinder gauge. measure the cylinder bore
