Always7remember7to7install7the7Stretch7Cord7before7using7your7TowGo®7Trailer7Backup7Navigation7
Aid.
$ The$ Trailer$ Backup$ Navigation$ Aid$ will$ not$ work$ without$ a$ properly$ measured,$ knotted$ and$
installed$Stretch$Cord.$
Make7sure7the7Trailer7Sensor7Assembly7is7securely7attached7to7your7trailer7
before7you7attach7the7Stretch7Cord.

The7Stretch7Cord7must7be7properly7sized.
$It$must$be$tight$when$the$trailer$is$turned$sharply$to$either$
side,$but$not$so$tight$that$the$tension$damages$the$hitch$sensor$or$breaks$the$Stretch$Cord$when$the$
trailer$ is$ straight$ back.$ The$ cord$ length$ calculation$ explained$ above$ is$ necessary$ for$ setting$ this$
length.$

The7 Stretch7 Cord7 must7 be7 properly7 installed.
$ The$ Stretch$ Cord$
must% be% horizontal
$ when$ installed$
and,$on$the$Trailer$Hitch$Sensor,$the$bottom$edge$of$the$Swing$Arm$must$not$rub$on$(or$in$any$way$
touch)$ the$ Main$ Housing.$ Failure$ to$ do$ this$ will$ cause$ the$ system$ to$ malfunction$ and$ will$ cause$
mechanical$failure.$$

Always7remove7the7Trailer7Sensor7Assembly7from7your7trailer7when7not7backing.
$We$do$not$want$
your$sensor$to$be$stolen$when$parked.$We$also$do$not$want$your$sensor$damaged$or$destroyed$while$
driving.$ To$ reduce$ the$ chance$ of$ accidental$ damage,$
before7 you7 uncouple7 your7 trailer7 from7 your7
vehicle

unclip7 the7 Stretch7 Cord7 and7 then7 remove7 the7 Trailer7 Sensor7 Assembly7 from7 your7
trailer!7

Remember7 to7 unclip7 the7 Stretch7 Cord7 before7 removing7 the7 Trailer7 Sensor7 Assembly7 from7 your7
trailer!
$Do$not$even$loosen$the$Trailer$Sensor$Assembly$with$the$cord$attached.$
If7the7Trailer7Sensor7
Assembly7becomes7loose7while7the7Stretch7Cord7is7attached,7your7sensor7may7become7damaged7or7
the7Trailer7Sensor7Assembly7could7become7a7projectile7and7cause7injury!7Make7sure7the7sensor7is7
tightly7secured!

When$connecting$and$disconnection$the$Stretch$Cord$to$or$from$the$Swing$Arm,$be$careful$to$not$
apply$upward$or$downward$pressure$to$the$Swing$Arm.$

Rotate$the$Stretch$
Allow$the$tension$

lock$the$Clip$in$place$

To$detach$the$Stretch$Cord,$reverse$the$above$sequence.$
