Step 4: Adjust your path
If your trailer starts to get too close or too far from the edge of the path, you must adjust
your steering to get back on your intended path. Stop your truck so you can examine the
TowGo App.
First, turn the steering wheel so that the Red Path Correction Arrow points back towards the
intended path.
Second, adjust how gradually you will correct your path. More gradual corrections are usually
best unless something about your path requires otherwise. The TowGo App lets you know
how quickly the path will be corrected; the smaller the Red Arrow (and the closer together the
red and blue curved lines), the more gradual the correction.
Slowly back up. As the trailer returns to your intended path, stop your truck once again.
Now that your trailer angle is better matched to the curve of your path, turn your steering
wheel so that the red and blue curved lines again are on top of each other and the Red Path
Correction Arrow again becomes a Red Dot.
