CONNECTING AND CONFIGURING YOUR SENSORS
When connecting to your sensors or entering configuration data, be sure the sensors are
powered up. Each sensor has a light on it to let you know it has power. Please refer to the
troubleshooting section in the back of this guide if you think your sensor is without power.
The trailer hitch sensor must be powered up and connected to configure the steering wheel
sensor. Please follow the following sequence to connect and configure your sensors.
CONNECT TO YOUR TRAILER HITCH SENSOR
Power up your trailer hitch sensor. On your App, tap the gear icon (top right) or the trailer
icon (top center). The App will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last connected
trailer, if available.
If a trailer is not connected, you will see a
list of available trailers. Choose your trailer
and touch the 'Connect' button. If the list is
long, you may need to scroll to find your
trailer.
Hint: to help identify your trailer, press on
the brake or operate the turn signal to
highlight it in the list.
If you do not see your trailer in the list,
verify that your trailer’s hitch sensor has
power by checking that its light is on. If it’s
not, be sure your headlights are on (the
sensor gets its power along with the
trailer's lights). Next, check that the hitch
sensor wire is plugged in.
Once connected, signal strength bars will
appear beside the trailer icon.
Next, before you configure your trailer
hitch sensor, connect to your Steering
Wheel Sensor…
