7.3 TROUBLESHOOTING
Each machine has been assembled and scrupulously checked in the factory before shipment and will hardly be subject to breakdowns or
defect. However, we offer below a summary list of the main causes of verifiable anomalies and the related measures necessary to remedy
them.
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
Machine does not turn off
•
Make sure that the power cable is correctly connected to the machine plug and to the
power socket;
•
Make sure that the power button is on “I”;
•
Make sure that the fuse on the socket is not broken;
•
Make sure that the emergency button (if equipped) has not been activated;
•
Make sure that the fuse on the power electronic board is not broken;
The edge of laminated material has
wrinkles
•
Make sure the rollers are under pressure
•
Make sure that the tension of the lamination film is not excessive
•
Make sure that the width of the plastic film reel does not exceed the width of the
sheet;
In case of simultaneous lamination of two
articles, one article has imperfections
For greater efficiency, multiple articles can be laminated simultaneously.
Wrinkles can occur if the two laminated sheets have a different thickness. For maximum
results, make sure that both items have the same thickness.
The film wraps around the rollers during
hot lamination
•
Make sure that the film has not been loaded incorrectly;
•
Make sure that the temperature is not too high;
The film does not adhere properly
•
Make sure that the lamination temperature is high enough, if necessary raise the
temperature; (insufficient heat for melting the glue);
•
Make sure that the rollers pressure is engaged;
•
Make sure that the lamination speed is not too high
The lamination is not perfectly homoge-
neous but looks like a weave
•
Make sure that the rollers do not have adhesive residuals on the surface. Adhesive
residuals and dirty rollers: clean the rollers.
•
Damage to the rollers can cause irregularities in the surface of the film: inspect the
rollers.
General opacity and streaks in the film
after lamination
Increase the temperature or decrease the speed. The streaks depend on an incomplete
adhesion of the plasticizer film.
ERROR
SOLUTION
Err. #01
Upper sensor communication error;
Err. #02
Lower sensor communication error;
Err. #03
Error on i2c bus (memory and/or sensors)
Err. #04
Not used
Err. #05
Not used
Err. #06
Power supply too low
Err. #07
Serial communication error between board and display
Motor error
A block has been detected in the rotation of the motor, the causes could be::
•
Intervention of the automatic switch located on the rear of the machine;
•
Jam that blocked the rotation of the motor;
•
Encoder sensor failure;
•
Main motor failure;
7.4
SERVICE LIFE AND DISPOSAL OF THE MACHINE
7.4.1 e
xPeCted
lifetime
of
the
maChine
The life expectancy of the machine under normal use and regular maintenance is believed to be at least five years.
Upon termination of the activities of the machine’s disposal of the same can be done using a standard collection center and industrial
waste disposal.
