7 MAINTENANCE
7.1 ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
Repair interventions in and out of warranty must be carried out exclusively by TOSINGRAF authorized service centers, with the
help of original spare parts.
Always unplug the machine before any maintenance and cleaning.
This appliance has been designed and manufactured not to require particular maintenance or oiling operations during its life. There are
therefore no operations to be performed at predetermined intervals. If the appliance is not used for several days, it is recommended to co-
ver it with a sheet and to disconnect the plug from the socket. For a better and longer life of the appliance, we recommend proceeding as
described: Disconnect the power plug from the socket before cleaning the outside of the appliance. Clean the machine using a soft cloth
with neutral detergent or alcohol, excluding the use of abrasive or ammonia-based detergents that may damage the appliance. Tosingraf
offers from cleaning kits to maintenance contracts. For more information, contact your local TOSINGRAF service center or your represen-
tative / distributor. The only maintenance required is the cleaning of the heating rollers. The procedure below will help keep the heating
rollers free from the adhesive deposited along the edge of the film. Correct alignment of the film reels reduces the amount of adhesive
wasted. Do not attempt to laminate stickers bearing the wording “Flammable”. Do not plasticize spangles and / or metallic materials and
in any case hard as these could damage the rollers.

The procedure below should be carried out when the laminator is hot. Use caution
NEVER clean the rollers with a sharp object
If the film wraps around the rollers, immediately press the “RED” button
Do not clean the rollers with detergents because some solutions may melt on the rollers
1) Lift the rollers and remove the film from the laminator.
2) Heat the laminator up to 50 °: with the heated rollers the adhesive can be removed easier.
3) Lift the protection screen and pull out the feeding table.
4) Clean the rollers with a soft cloth soaked in alcohol by gently removing the deposited adhesive.
5) Press the “GREEN” button or keep the “RED” button pressed to turn the rollers in one direction or the other and position them on
an area to be cleaned. Continue the operation until the whole surface of the rollers is clean.
6) Place the feeding table in its housing.
7) If the film wraps around the rollers, immediately press the “RED” button: let the rollers cool down and remove the film on the
upper and lower rollers. Spin the rollers in the reverse direction at a reduced speed to allow the machine to free the rollers from
the film; remove the film from the rollers and clean the rollers.
