• Turn off the ampl i fi er before you connect or d i sconnect the DVD player ’ s power cord . If you leave the ampl i fi er power on, the
speakers may be damaged .

Output ” to “ PCM ” from the on-screen d i splays . Otherw i se,
h i gh volume sound may damage your hear i ng as well as the
speakers .
• When play i ng DT S -encoded d i scs (DVDs and aud i o CDs),
excess i ve no i se may be output from the analog aud i o output
j acks . To avo i d poss i ble damage to the aud i o system, you
should take proper precaut i ons when the analog aud i o output
j acks of the DVD player are connected to an ampl i fi cat i on
system . To en j oy DT S D i g i tal S urround™ playback, an
external 5 . 1 channel DT S D i g i tal S urround™ decoder system
must be connected to the COAXIAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT
j ack of the DVD player .
