used for any commerc i al or bus i ness purposes as set out
below, TCL warrants the DAV Product and i ts parts aga i nst
mater i al defects i n mater i als or workmansh i p that result i n
the DAV Product fa i l i ng for a per i od of one (1) year after
the date of or i g i nal reta i l purchase . DURIN G THIS PERIOD,
TCL WILL, AT TCL ’ S OPTION, REPAIR OR REPLACE A
DEFECTIVE PART WITH A NEW OR REFUR B ISHED PART,
WITHOUT CHAR G E TO YOU FOR PARTS OR LA B OUR .
YOU MUST DELIVER THE ENTIRE DAV PRODUCT TO A
TCL DAV PRODUCT AUTHORIZED SERVICE PROVIDER
(“ASP”)
. YOU MUST PAY FOR ALL TRANSPORTATION AND
INSURANCE CHAR G ES FOR THE DAV PRODUCT TO AND
FROM THE ASP .
Rental Un i ts
The warranty for DAV Product rental un i ts beg i ns w i th the date
of fi rst rental or th i rty (30) days from the date of sh i pment to
the rental fi rm, wh i chever comes fi rst .
L i m i ted Warranty for Commerc i al Un i ts
TCL warrants DAV Products that are used for any commerc i al
or bus i ness purposes as follows : all parts are warranted aga i nst
mater i al defects i n mater i als or workmansh i p that result i n
the DAV Product fa i l i ng for a per i od of n i nety (90) days after
the date of or i g i nal reta i l purchase . DURIN G THIS PERIOD,
TCL WILL, AT TCL ’ S OPTION, REPAIR OF REPLACE A
DEFECTIVE PART WITH A NEW OR REFUR B ISHED PART,
WITHOUT CHAR G E TO YOU FOR PARTS OR LA B OUR .
YOU MUST DELIVER THE ENTIRE DAV PRODUCT TO AN

. YOU MUST PAY FOR ALL TRANSPORTATION AND

Your Respons i b i l i ty
THE A B OVE WARRANTIES ARE SU B JECT TO THE
FOLLOWIN G CONDITIONS :
(1) You must prov i de your b i ll of sale or other proof of
purchase .
(2) All warranty serv i c i ng of th i s DAV Product must be
performed by an A S P .
(3) The warrant i es from TCL are effect i ve only i f the DAV
Product i s ( i ) purchased as new and unopened from TCL
or from TCL ’ s author i zed d i str i butors, dealers or resellers
( “ ADR ’ s ” ) and ( ii ) located/operated i n Canada .
(4) Warrant i es extend only to mater i al defects i n mater i als or
workmansh i p as l i m i ted above, and do not extend to :
a . S erv i ce, repa i rs or replacement made necessary by
acc i dent, m i suse, abuse, mo i sture, l i qu i ds, dust, d i rt,
neglect, accedent, damage, 24/7 appl i cat i ons, i mproper
i nstallat i on, i mproper operat i on, i mproper clean i ng,
i mproper ma i ntenance, normal wear and tear, or any other
external cause or event, act or om i ss i on outs i de the control
of TCL, i nclud i ng fi re, theft, acts of God, alterat i on, power
fa i lures, power surges or power shortages, l i ghtn i ng, other
electr i cal faults, or repa i rs, mod i fi cat i ons or replacements
by persons other than those author i zed by TCL to serv i ce
the DAV Product ;
b . Replacement of m i ss i ng, d i scarded or lost parts, the
prov i s i on of retrofi ts, or prevent i ve ma i ntenance ;
c . Repa i r of damage that i s cosmet i c only or does not affect
the DAV Product funct i onal i ty, such as wear and tear,
scratches and dents ;
d . S erv i ce on Tosh i ba-branded accessory i tems (such
accessory i tems may be covered by the i r own warranty) ;
e . S erv i ce on th i rd party products or serv i ce made necessary
by use of i ncompat i ble th i rd party products ;
f . S erv i ce made necessary by the s i multaneous use of th i s
DAV Product and connected equ i pment ;
g . Mod i fi cat i ons to the DAV Product not approved i n wr i t i ng
by TCL, and serv i ce made necessary by the use or
i nstallat i on of non-Tosh i ba mod i f i cat i ons to the DAV
Product ;
h . S erv i ce of a DAV Product on wh i ch the TO S HI B A label or
logo, rat i ng label or ser i al number have been defaced or
removed ;
i. On-s i te serv i ce and repa i r of the DAV Product ;
j. Damage to the DAV Product caused by fa i lure to follow
the spec i fi cat i ons, User manuals or gu i des as to usage
and/or storage .

TO THE EXTENT NOT PRECLUDED B Y LAW, ALL OTHER
EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS
