(1) Checking and testing
When a fault occurs to an air conditioner, a
check code and indoor unit No. are displayed
on the display window of the remote controller.
Check codes are only displayed while the air
conditioner is in operation.
If the display has already disappeared, access
error history by following the procedure
described below.
(2) Error history
The error history access procedure is described below (up to four errors stored in memory).
Error history can be accessed regardless of whether the air conditioner is in operation or shut down.

Push the + buttons simultaneously and hold for at least 4 seconds.

The letters “
SERVICE CHECK” light up, and the check code “

When a group No. is selected (blinking), if there is an error history, the UNIT No. and the
latest error history information are displayed alternately.
*During this procedure, the temperature setting feature is unavailable.

button to select another check code

To check check code relating to another group, push (ZONE) and (GROUP) buttons to
select a group No.
Do not push the button as it would erase the whole error history of the selected group.
